Woodlure Custom Shutters are constructed from an extremely durable composite wood with a tough polypropylene coating covering all surfaces.  This unique combination of materials and finish resists warping, shrinkage, moisture and other problems associated with solid wood shutters.  Our high gloss finish resists scuffing, chipping, peeling, paints, inks, and general deterioration, and it incorporates a special UV inhibitor to prevent color fading.
